Clays for Conservation

Join Ventura County Quail Forever for Clays for Conservation, an exciting fundraising event supporting local wildlife habitat. For a $100 entry fee, participants receive 100 clays and a BBQ lunch while testing your shooting skills across 17 unique stations, each featuring four clay throwers. Experience the challenge of targets soaring overhead, bouncing along the ground, and flying below your feet. Open to all skill levels, but limited to 100 participants—secure your spot today!

Anyone! You don’t have to be a Quail Forever member. You don’t have to have shooting experience. You can rent a shotgun and buy ammunition when you arrive. 

Absolutely! There will be many experience people to assist you. 

Trying to hit a moving target can be challenging, but we all get better with practice. In the end, we all have a ton of fun, no matter our final score.

Yes! Join us for a barbeque lunch and raffle at noon.

Bring your own shotgun or rent one from Moore N Moore. Ammo is available for purchase. If you bring your own, it should be lead only, 7.5 or 8 shot. And, of course, ear and eye protection.
